The DBS Manager will be based at Beds, Cambs or Herts and will lead a team of DBS Supervisors across multiple locations. The post is full time at 37 hours per week. You will be able to discuss the base location if successful in getting the role.
This is an exciting opportunity to become personally involved in protecting vulnerable members of your community from harm through provision of information to prospective and existing employers. The purpose of the Disclosure and Barring Service Team is to safeguard children and vulnerable adults by assessing, reviewing and providing information to the Disclosure and Barring service customers and partners to enable safer recruitment decisions.
The DBS Team also discloses information directly to employers through the Common Law Police Disclosures process post-employment when an immediate public protection risk has been identified.
Through this role you can make a real difference to people’s lives in protecting those who may be unable to protect themselves and those that trust others to protect them.
The DBS Team is committed to safeguarding the vulnerable. In Beds, Cambs and Herts we service approximately 108,000 applications a year between our three locations and our dynamic Team of over 40 people.
