Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.
We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission.
The National Border Targeting Centre (NBTC) is responsible for alerting CT and Territorial policing at ports nationally to passengers of interest.
The NBTC are at the forefront of responding to national operations and providing support to policing investigations across the country using travel data and advice.
The national support officer role assists by providing operational support to NBTC operators, improving efficiency, and liaising with ports & forces nationally regarding NBTC business.
The role also assists with recruitment, onboarding and maintaining staff access to various systems required.
This is a part time position and the working days will be Monday, Friday and a day in between which will be discussed before appointment.
