LPS Western Prisoner Handling Evidence Gatherer
Role Purpose:
To assist in the prompt and efficient investigation of serious and complex crime. The core purpose of the role being able to obtain evidence in a timely and appropriate manner, assist with interviewing victims, witnesses and suspects as well as providing support to other investigations as required.
You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:
- HNC or equivalent level of qualification, or an equivalent amount of proven relevant experience.
- Intermediate IT skills, to include the use of Microsoft Office products.
- The ability to communicate effectively (commensurate with the grade and requirements of the post) with managers, members of staff (at all levels) and members of the public.
- Motivated and disciplined style working on own initiative to complete the task and as part of a team to achieve overall objectives
