The purpose of the role?
As an HGV / Equipment Technician, your purpose is to ensure that all emergency service vehicles and associated equipment are safe, legally compliant, and fully operational at all times. You will carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs across a wide range of specialist fleet and firefighting equipment and support our external contractor, while also providing out-of-hours cover and operational support. Your work ensures maximum fleet availability and reliability, supporting 24/7 emergency response capability across Northamptonshire and beyond
