As a Police Call Handler, you will:
- Answer emergency and non‑emergency calls professionally and with care.
- Remain calm and focused during urgent and sometimes life‑threatening situations.
- Guide callers clearly while gathering accurate information.
- Work as part of a dedicated team that makes a difference every day.
- Manage multiple tasks, including speaking with the public, contacting other emergency services, and recording incidents and crimes accurately.
As a Police Dispatcher, you will:
- Dispatch police units in response to emergency and non‑emergency incidents.
- Provide real‑time support and clear communication to officers in the field.
- Monitor, prioritise, and manage incidents to ensure the right resources are deployed.
- Multitask effectively, including tracking police units and updating incident logs.
- Full training provided – no prior experience required.

Salary:
Starting salary approximately £37,235, inclusive of shift allowances.

Salary:
Starting salary approximately £37,234, inclusive of allowances.
Part‑time shift patterns are available for both roles and can be discussed at the assessment centre or interview stage.
