Assistant Chief Constable
North Wales Police are looking for an exceptional leader with passion, energy and drive to join the team.
The process to select an Assistant Chief Constable will begin by the submission of a CV (no more than 2 pages) and covering letter (no more than 2 pages). The covering letter should outline how your experience and leadership style will be applied to the Assistant Chief Constable role to address the key challenges facing North Wales Police now and in the future, whilst being mindful of the CVF and the requirements of the role.

On 23rd January the Chief Constable will be hosting a Familiarisation Session. Here the Chief Constable will be sharing with you North Wales Police’s vision and priorities for the Force and will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the role.
Successfully sifted applicants will be invited to the assessment stage which will consist of stakeholder panels, interview and presentation. These will take place on 11th & 12th February 2026.
