Staff - Countywide Complaints Investigator
Northamptonshire Police Professional Standards Department (PSD) is looking to recruit a part time Complaints Handler to join the Countywide Complaints Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team at time of change and development to improve how complaints are handled and progressed. The role will require you to engage with complainants, investigate their concerns and work with them to resolve the complainant. This is an important role in building trust and confidence within our community, but it is also key to identifying learning to help shape how we police within Northamptonshire.
This role requires someone who thrives on engaging with and talking to people, all with the mindset of getting to the heart of the complaint to help explain, resolve or identify learning. The successful applicant will be required to conduct investigations, make decisions and write to complainants summarising the investigation and findings. PSD will provide the successful candidate with training and a mentor to help settle you into the role and develop your skills.
